Pregamate

Week20

Most women who have smaller body frames begin to experience trouble breathing at this point. The baby’s growth has reached the point at which the baby is pressing on the internal organs, making it hard to breathe. Waistline continues to expand, and indigestion, heartburn, itching, and constipation probably occur more frequently, also experiencing more and more trips to the restroom is seen.

Many of the baby’s taste buds can now transmit taste signals to his brain, and he’s swallowing molecules of the food that mother eat that have passed through the blood into the amniotic fluid. The baby is about the size of a banana, length is 10 inches and weighs 10 ½ ounces.

Weight gain, itchy skin and restless sleep are some of the common symptoms observed during this week.
